These are but a few of the many examples where personal information is a major component.  They are also examples of run-away costs, inefficiency, or down-right failure. Personal Data Information Management can do better.

We are spending scarce dollars to build redundant, inefficient throw-away systems that will not be able to scale and manage the information that we need to manage.  If we stop and re-think our information management technology and focus on the Individual we will design a completely different infrastructure.  One copy of the data,  Managed Effectively and Securely, with access controls that the individual can use.  We are not talking about a relational database but a single-object data store.
